UNIVERSITY OF BASRAاORGANIZES WORKSHOP ON THE RISKS OF ILLEGAL MIGRATION
The Educational Guidance and Psychological Counseling Unit at the College of Administration and Economics, in cooperation with the Accounting Department and the Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah, organized a workshop on the risks of illegal migration.
The workshop aimed to protect youth and raise their awareness of future challenges. The workshop included a lecture by instructor Kifah Jabbar Hassan, who highlighted the psychological, social, and economic risks of this phenomenon.
The workshop recommended the necessity of supporting youth potential, providing a local environment of stability, integrating efforts to provide alternative opportunities, intensifying academic awareness, and launching youth empowerment initiatives to ensure their stability.
