UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH ORGANIZE A SEMINAR ON THE EDUCATIONAL AND SOCIETAL ROLES OF LADY AL-ZAHRAA (PEACE BE UPON HER)
The Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Administration and Economics, in collaboration with the Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah, organized a seminar titled "The Milestones and Roles of Lady al-Zahra (peace be upon her): A Strategic Perspective on Educational, Social, Intellectual, and Reformist Dimensions."
The seminar aimed to highlight her role in building the family and society, as well as to raise awareness regarding the status of women.
The seminar, presented by Najlaa Saeed al-Saffar—a college member at the College of Pharmacy—covered several key themes, including the concept of "education through example," the values of altruism and social solidarity, the education of women, and the intellectual, social, and economic implications of the Fadakiyyah sermon, particularly its significance in the defense of justice.
The seminar concluded with a recommendation to integrate these values into educational programs and community initiatives to enhance women's participation in development.
