UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH ORGANIZES A SCIENTIFIC SEMINAR ENTITLED "CREATE YOUR FIRST STATISTICAL DASHBOARD"
The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah organized a scientific seminar entitled "Create Your First Statistical Dashboard." The seminar aimed to introduce first-year students to the fundamentals of presenting and analyzing data in a modern visual format, and to develop their skills in designing statistical dashboards that help organize and simplify data and make decisions based on indicators and graphs using modern digital tools.
The seminar, presented by Dr. Walid Miya Rudin and Lecturer Noor Ali Sa'ijel, included an introduction to the concept of a dashboard and its importance in data presentation, in addition to explaining how to organize and prepare data for analysis, create graphs and statistical indicators, and a practical application in designing a simplified statistical dashboard.
The seminar recommended the necessity of enhancing students' skills in handling and presenting data in a modern visual format, and encouraging them to use analytical and graphical tools in building interactive statistical dashboards, which contributes to developing their practical abilities and preparing them for the demands of the job market in the fields of data analysis and applied statistics.
